The Worst Starting Line-Up Ever...Not WINNING!!!

So no reasonable person would expect anything positive out of the CAVS this year. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Personally, I feel that they have already overachieved as a team by winning 11 games and beating 2 of the NBA's elite clubs. But with the most recent injury to Antawn Jamison, this already horrible team has just gotten worse.

Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers may have just marched out the worst starting line-up in NBA history. Their opponent, the 4 time world champion San Antonio Spurs, had to be salavating at the thought of playing a starting five that consisted of 2 undrafted rookie free agents and three borderline career bench players. Here were the Cavs starters on Wednesday night:

          PG - Ramon Sessions
          SG - Anthony Parker
          SF - Alonzo Gee
          PF - Samardo Samuels
           C  - J.J. Hickson

The final score of 109-99 in this Spurs victory does not truly illustrate how uneven this competition was (and that the Cavs were never really in this game). I would like to challenge anybody that reads this article to tell me of a worse starting line-up in the history of the NBA. I believe that it is impossible to do. CHALLENGE!

  1. Miami Heat, some years ago:

    SG - Ricky Davis
    SF - Kasib Powell
    PF - Stephane Lasme
    C - Mark Blount
