Heat Check...Three Flamers Not Enough!

Open the Flood Gates: The Big Three can't hold it back anymore!
The Heat are good, just not that good. The Big Three are by far and away the most talented trio of players on a single team in the entire league, but it just doesn't seem to be enough. After suffering their 4th loss in a row at the hands of the Chicago Bulls (my pick to go to the finals from the East), it was reported that several of the Heat players broke into tears after being unable to handle the self-imposed pressure. This reaction could possibly have helped the Heat become #1 in something...Can you say Douches of the Week?

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have both been on teams that they've had to carry on their own and were able to accomplish great things in those situations (Wade's Heat won the NBA championship in 2006 & LeBron got the Cavs there in 2007). So it is amazing that these guys cannot seem to coexist and win the big games together. The lack of ability of the Big Three to close out games is puzzling to say the least. It goes to show you that in order to be successful in this team sport, you need to have a roster of able-bodied team players to compliment your stars.

The main motive in Lebron James and Chris Bosh's decisions to join D-Wade in Miami was to start winning championships, and to win them immediately. With each additional loss, we are hearing the excuse that it is going to take more time for this "team" to get acclimated to one another. If this is the case and the Heat cannot produce a championship soon, then wouldn't LeBron have been better off staying in Cleveland and giving it a go with the TEAM he had there? He could have saved face with the fans he did have, and I truly believe his chances of winning the title in Cleveland were better than they are now.

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Who would have thought that a team of Mo Williams & Antawn Jamison would have produced a better chance at success than Wade & Bosh? But don't worry Miami fans, the Heat should be OK by continuing to pick up the rest of the NBA's unwanted crap like Mike Bibby and Juwan Howard. With a harder salary cap lurking in the near future, I don't know if there is anything out there that can help these guys. Just make sure to keep an unlimited supply of tissues within arms length over the next 4 years Miami, it's going to be a rough ride.

Here is a little something for the Heat fans to help get your spirits up!
